According to reports, domestic and overseas buyers will now be purchasing the government-owned LNG from state-run oil and gas firm Pertamina, and not from the beleaguered gas regulator SKK Migas. Pertamina will be authorised to handle the government’s LNG business in the country. Under the new scheme, Pertamina will replace SKK Migas as the manager of Indonesia’s oil and condensate trade, as well as LNG.
