PetroEnergy Resources Corporation (PERC) has announced plans to expand its energy capacity to around 500 MW by 2028-2029 in the Philippines. This plan includes boosting its current capacity of 145 MW by adding another 100 MW.
PERC’s recent key projects include expanding PetroWind Energy Incorporation’s Nabas wind power project, where Phase 2 added 13.2 MW to the grid. Additionally, PERC’s Dagohoy Green Energy Corporation has begun installing photovoltaic (PV) panels for a 27 MW solar power project in Bohol. These initiatives reflect PERC’s commitment to enhancing its renewable energy (RE) portfolio and contributing to the national energy mix.
