Malaysia Airports Holdings Bhd (MAHB) has announced that passenger traffic in 2022 exceeded seven million, making it the highest recorded since 2019. Equal growth has been recorded in both international and domestic passenger movements.
In May 2022, passenger footfall of over one million was recorded across all airports in the country. International borders were opened in April 2022.
As airlines further increase flight frequency, passenger traffic numbers are expected to increase in the upcoming months.
