The passenger operations on Phase 1 of the LRT-1 Cavite Extension are expected to be completed in the Philippines by the end of November 2024. The line will connect Baclaran Station to Dr. Santos Station in Parañaque. This phase adds five new stations and 6 km to the existing LRT-1, making the total route 26 km. The extension is expected to reduce travel time by 30 minutes and improve commuting efficiency for thousands of passengers.
The project, developed through a public-private partnership (PPP), aims to help alleviate traffic congestion and provide better transport access to residents in the area.
