Australia-based Otto Energy has started new drillings at the Galoc oilfield, located in Northwest Palawan. The company has already drilled 400 metres each at the Galoc 5H and 6H development wells. It aims to complete the drilling of both wells to 950 metres. Otto Energy has mobilised the drilling rig Ocean Patriot from Singapore. The drilling is expected to take approximately 115 days, including the flowing of the wells for clean-up.
