OKP Holdings has secured a contract worth approximately SGD87.3 million from the Land Transport Authority (LTA) for commuter infrastructure works along the Jurong Region Line (JRL). The 60-month project commenced on February 27, 2026, increasing the group’s net construction order book to about SGD627.2 million, with projects extending through 2031.
The contract will be executed by OKP’s wholly owned subsidiary Or Kim Peow Contractors, which will oversee the design and construction of covered linkways to provide sheltered connectivity for pedestrians and commuters near JRL stations. The scope also includes the development of cycling paths, shared paths, footpaths and associated roadworks to improve last-mile connectivity around the rail corridor.
Additional works include the reconstruction, modification and reinstatement of affected infrastructure such as retaining walls, drainage systems, roads, landscaping and turfing within the project areas. The contract forms part of Singapore’s broader rail expansion programme, with the first phase of the Jurong Region Line now scheduled to open in mid-2028.
