Malaysian telecom service provider OCK Group is planning to raise RM 150 million through an Islamic bond issue under its sukuk programme; the bonds will have a term of 20 years. The company plans to use the proceeds to build and purchase more telecom towers that will be leased out to operators. The company has appointed BNP Paribas as principal adviser and lead arranger for the issue. In addition, BNP Paribas and Bank Muamalat are the joint lead managers.
