NREB re-files a lower FIT for additional wind power capacities covered under the incentive scheme

The National Renewable Energy Board (NREB) has re-filed for a lower PhP 7.93 per kWh feed-in tariff (FiT) for the additional wind power capacities to be covered under the incentive scheme. The new FiT application has been revised downwards from PhP 8.49 per kWh, which was also the original estimate set forth by concerned industry players. This is not final as it is yet to be approved by the Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC).
