Telekomunikasi Indonesia International (Telin) has appointed Nokia to provide optical transport solutions to connect its data centres across Singapore. The upgrade is designed to deliver a highly available, reliable, and scalable island-wide network, enhancing data centre services and meeting growing customer demands.
Telin’s Singapore data centres are geographically distributed to provide low-latency, high-speed interconnections, enabling robust connectivity across the island. Using Nokia’s latest pluggable coherent optical technology, including the 1830 GX compact modular platform and open optical line system, the company aims to improve network efficiency, scalability, and service offerings for technology giants and hyperscalers operating in the region.
