NexV Manufacturing Sdn Bhd (NMSB), a joint venture (JV) between Careplus Group Bhd and GoAuto Group Sdn Bhd, will commence the construction of a MYR600 million green technology facility in Malaysia in Q1 2025. The facility will be used to manufacture and assemble new energy vehicles (NEVs), including electric vehicles (EVs).
The plant will have a capacity of 30,000 vehicles annually. The plant will be developed in three phases. Phase 1 will involve the development of an assembly plant and is expected to begin in Q1 2024. Meanwhile, Phase 2 and 3 will begin in 2026 and 2028 respectively, expanding to a production capacity of 50,000 units annually.
