The National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) will install a 174-km-long transmission line between the provinces of Zambales and Pangasinan in Luzon. The 550-kV transmission line project will support the increasing energy demand in the area and will support the existing lines in western Pangasinan and Zambales. It will also support the upcoming power plants in the provinces.
The line will begin in Candelaria, passing through the towns of Santa Cruz in Zambales and the towns of Infanta, Dasol, Mabini, Burgos, and Sual and Alaminos City in Pangasinan. Energy transmission will commence in June 2025.
