Datuk Chong Loong Men has been appointed as the Executive Director of NexG Bhd, effective November 18, following approval by the company’s board of directors. The appointment is part of NexG’s efforts to strengthen governance, organisational stability, and leadership as it advances national digital identity and security initiatives.
Chong brings extensive regulatory, legal, and corporate experience, having served as Deputy Public Prosecutor at the Attorney-General’s Chambers and as an officer at the Securities Commission Malaysia. He also has significant board experience across public-listed companies, providing valuable expertise in regulatory compliance and corporate governance.
In his new role, Chong will support NexG’s mission to deliver secure, scalable, and future-ready digital infrastructure for government, enterprise, and national digital transformation projects, reinforcing stakeholder confidence and enabling the execution of key strategic initiatives.
