The new passenger terminal at the Clark International Airport is expected to become operational by July 2020. The terminal is expected to increase the airport’s overall capacity to 12.2 million passengers per year. The PhP 12.55 billion project has already achieved a completion rate of 94 per cent. The ongoing works, which are at various stages of completion, include the exterior finishes, ancillary facilities, specialist systems and equipment, as well as the landside works. The terminal is being built by Megawide Construction Corporation and GMR Infrastructure Limited. It is expected to ease congestion at Manila’s Ninoy Aquino International Airport.
