ComfortDelGro Taxi and Alipay+ have partnered to deploy a new cashless mobile payment system using Malaysia-based Touch ‘n Go eWallet in all its Comfort and CityCab taxis across Singapore. Currently, all ComfortDelGro Taxis accept around 20 cashless payment methods, in addition to cash payments.
In the future, the ride hailing company also plans to integrate more of AliPay+’s e-wallets as payment options for the taxi service. This includes Philippines-based GCash and Thailand-based TrueMoney, among others.
