The NEDA Board has greenlit an executive order formalising the Philippines-Korea Free Trade Agreement (PH-KR FTA) and two significant infrastructure initiatives. The FTA will grant preferential duty-free access to over 11,000 Philippine products, enhancing trade and investment ties with Korea.
Additionally, a PHP37.5-billion irrigation project and a PHP25.7 billion bridge construction program were approved to boost agricultural productivity and disaster resilience. These projects aim to improve connectivity and economic opportunities across regions.
