The Nakhonchai Air Company is planning to launch bus services in Cambodia and Myanmar by early 2014. The firm is in talks with officials from Cambodia and Myanmar and is studying the regulations on public transport in the two countries. Nakhonchai’s fleet of 300 buses offers passenger bus services to the northern, north-eastern, and eastern regions of the country, through several direct routes linking the three regions. If all goes according to plan, Nakhonchai would become the first Thai firm to operate bus lines outside of Thailand.
