TTCL Public Company Limited, a provider of integrated EPC services, has announced plans to invest about $6 billion in the construction and development of coal fired power plants in Myanmar. The first plant to be built in Mon state, will have a capacity of 1,280 MW and be built at an estimated investment of around $3 billion. Another power plant will have a capacity of 1,280 MW and will be located in Kayin state. It is currently under evaluation. TTCL is a JV of the Toyo Engineering Corporation and Italian-Thai Development Public Company Limited.
