Tiger Infrastructure Philippines Incorporated has secured funding of PHP2.3 billion from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) and the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) to install telecommunication towers in underserved areas of Visayas and Mindanao.

Out of the total financing, PHP1.4 billion will be provided by the ADB while nearly PHP900 million will be provided by JICA, through its Leading Asia’s Private Infrastructure Fund. The loan will be used to build, operate and maintain around 380 ground mounted telco towers on the two islands in the Philippines.

Tiger Infrastructure has secured 14 identified sites and will commence construction work once site clearing has been completed. The remaining sites are yet to be identified.
