PT MRT Jakarta (Persero), the developer and operator of the mass rapid transit (MRT) network in Jakarta, has partnered with Kredivo Group (formerly known as FinAccel), a developer of a digital credit platform. This is the first initiative of the pay-later payment method adopted by the operator. Passengers can now purchase tickets on MRT Jakarta’s application (app) without paying the full amount upfront through the Kredivo solution.
Kredivo Group has over 10 million customers in Indonesia. Jakarta’s MRT network is comprised of one line, which spans over 15 km and covers 13 stations. In August 2024, it had a ridership of over eight million passengers. MRT Jakarta’s ticketing app, MyMRTJ, has over 0.15 million active monthly users.
