Metro Pacific Investments Corporation (MPIC), a tollways and infrastructure subsidiary of the MVP Group International Incorporated, has announced a plan to expand road infrastructure development activities in the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) region.
The company plans to initially increase its presence in Indonesia by purchasing more toll roads. Metro Pacific Tollways Corporation, a subsidiary of MPIC, has already completed construction of two new roads in Indonesia and Vietnam. MPTC wholly owns PT Margautama Nusantara, an Indonesian toll road operator. MPTC also has a presence in Thailand in addition to Indonesia.
