The Metro Pacific Investment Corporation (MPIC) and JG Summit have joined forces to form a consortium – the MPIC-JGS Airport Consortium – to bid for the government’s Mactan-Cebu airport project. They are planning to invite global airport operators to join them in the bid. The airport partner would have a 10 per cent stake in the consortium, which would be majority owned by MPIC and 33 per cent owned by JG Summit.
