The Government of Hanoi has approved the Moov’Hanoi technical cooperation project, funded by non-refundable aid from France, to enhance the city’s public transport system. The initiative, running from 2025 to 2026 with a budget of VND33.2 billion, involves collaboration between the Hanoi Department of Transport, the French Development Agency (AFD), and the Île-de-France region.
The project aims to improve passenger travel by upgrading stations, increasing accessibility, and reorganizing the bus network. The Hanoi Department of Transport is responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance and financial management, while also coordinating with relevant authorities to maintain national security standards during implementation.
