Myanmar’s Global Integrated Service Company is in talks with US-based Amherst Group for the construction of an industrial zone and deep water seaport in Mawlamyine, the capital of Mon state. The firms are expected to submit the proposal to the Myanmar Investment Commission soon. The project will create employment opportunities and facilitate the development of Mon state.
