Indonesia-based telecom company MNC Kabel Mediacom has awarded a contract to ZTE for the deployment of a high speed broadband network. Under the roll out, the Chinese vendor will roll-out fibre-to-the-home (FTTH) network using the gigabit passive optical network technology. MNC Kabel Mediacom’s FTTH network will be extended to about 2 million households in over 10 Indonesian cities.
