Mitsubishi Corporation has decided to pull out of the Vinh Tan 3 power plant in Vietnam because of climate targets. The 2 GW project, located in the southern province of Binh Thuan, has an estimated value of UD2 billion.
The move is in line with the commitment made by Japan’s big banks to end their financing for the dirtiest fossil fuel.
