China-based Mingyang Smart Energy Group Limited has secured an order from Vena Energy to install 306 MW of wind turbines in the Philippines. The turbines will be installed at the 212.5 MW Talim and 93.75 MW Sembrano onshore wind projects, located in the province of Rizal.
Mingyang will supply, transport, install and commission 49 units of its MySE 6.25-172 turbines for the two renewable energy (RE) projects, and will also provide long-term operations and maintenance (O&M) services. Commissioning is scheduled for late 2024.
