Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Limited (MHIL) has received a turnkey contract from Japan’s Electric Power Development Company to develop a power generation plant, based on the gas turbine combined cycle technology, in Ayutthaya. MHIL will supply four gas turbines and two steam turbines under the contract. The 1,600 MW power project is expected to be fully commissioned by December 2015.
