Metso has been selected to provide its flow control technology for the Petronas Gas Company’s gas processing plant modernisation project in Terengganu, Kerteh, Malaysia. The project involves the replacement of existing equipment to allow the plant to reach a higher safety integrity level while enhancing its environmental performance. The order includes more than 140 actuated on–off and emergency shutdown butterfly and ball valves and was placed by Toyo, the project’s turnkey EPCC contractor.
