Meta Bright Group Bhd has partnered with Tunas Manja Sdn Bhd (TMG) to install solar photovoltaic (PV) systems on TMG-owned, leased, and operated buildings in Malaysia. The agreement under the Net Energy Metering (NEM) 3.0 program, will help businesses generate solar power, reduce reliance on grid electricity, and lower operational costs. Meta Bright will manage the development, design, financing, installation, and maintenance of the solar systems, with the first project launching at Tunas Manja Mart Wisma Air Putih in Kuantan.
This collaboration aligns with Malaysia’s renewable energy (RE) goals and reflects both companies’ commitment to sustainability and environmental, social, and governance (ESG) principles. As part of Malaysia’s green energy transition, initiatives like this support the country’s RE targets, backed by the recent allocation of MYR300 million for energy transition projects.
