The Manila Water Philippine Ventures and the provincial government of Laguna have amended the water agreement dated November 10, 2000. Under the amended agreement, the company will extend its water supply service to cover all cities and municipalities in Laguna. The company was earlier responsible for water supply in three cities – Binan, Cabuyao and Santa Rosa. The amendment also covers the provision of wastewater services and the establishment of an integrated sewage and septage system in the province.
