The Manila Bay – Pasig River – Laguna Lake Ferry Project has officially received the Notice to Proceed (NTP) for its project preparation services in the Philippines. The project aims to establish a modern, reliable, and sustainable water transport system connecting key urban areas across the region.
This move is expected to address long-standing transportation challenges in the capital, particularly traffic congestion, by offering an alternative mode of transport. The ferry system will also contribute to environmental sustainability efforts by reducing the number of vehicles on the road. The project preparation services will include finalising the design and conducting necessary feasibility studies to ensure a successful implementation of the ferry system.
