Sapura Energy Bhd’s wholly-owned engineering and construction (E&C) subsidiaries have secured six contracts valued at approximately RM1 billion.

Sapura Fabrication Sdn Bhd has secured a contract for the engineering, procurement, construction, installation and commissioning (EPCIC) of gas and condensate mercury removal unit (MRU) facilities. This new contract is supplementary to the existing contract for the delivery of EPCIC for Mubadala Petroleum’s Pegaga Development Project. The project work will take place off the coast of Sarawak, Malaysia, and is scheduled for completion during the third quarter of 2022.

Further, Hess Exploration and Production Malaysia BV has awarded Sapura Fabrication Sdn Bhd a contract for engineering, sourcing, design and commissioning for the full field development (FFD) Phase 4A Facilities North Malay Basin (NMB) under the Petronas Frame Agreement. The project is planned to be finished by the first quarter of financial year 2025.

Additionally, Petronas Dagangan Bhd has granted Sapura Technology Solutions Sdn Bhd a pricing contract for the procurement, servicing, distribution, deployment, evaluation and commissioning of Total Management System and SETEL for Petronas Station. Petronas Carigali Sdn Bhd has issued Sapura Offshore Sdn Bhd a work order for the Bakau NAG Development Project as part of the Pan Malaysia Transportation and Installation of Offshore Facilities 2021 Program. Both the contracts are scheduled to be completed during 2021.

Finally, Brunei Shell Petroleum Company Sdn Bhd (BSP) has issued Sapura Fabrication Sdn Bhd an alternative statement of work for the design and construction of a wellhead structure for the Egret East Project, which was conducted by BSP under the agreement for the provision of engineering, sourcing, construction and installation signed between BSP and Sapura Fabrication on August 30, 2019. The project is scheduled to be finished in the second quarter of 2023.
