KLIA Aeropolis Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of Malaysia Airports Holdings Bhd (MAHB), has signed a 99-year-long development agreement with the Government of Malaysia to develop the KLIA Aerotropolis, an airport city in Kuala Lumpur.  

Additionally, the company has also secured a 99-year federal land lease under which it will be able to occupy, use, control, manage and sublease the 3,454-hectare land. Malaysia Airports Sepang will retain the remaining 9,352 hectares for the operations of the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLAI).

KLIA Aeropolis is a self-sufficient airport city. The city will be connected to five major national highways and over 300km of integrated rail network.
