Malakoff Corporation Bhd has signed a heads of agreement (HoA) with Abu Dhabi-based Masdar to develop 1,000 MW worth of solar photovoltaic (PV) projects in Malaysia. The project will be executed in two phases. As per the agreement, both companies will jointly conduct technical and commercial assessments and/or pre-feasibility studies on identified projects. The companies will manage the development, implementation, and financing of the projects.
This partnership aligns with Malakoff’s commitment to UN Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 7 – Affordable and Clean Energy, which aims to ensure access to sustainable energy for all.
