Majuperak Holdings Bhd (Majuperak) and Cahya Suria Energy Sdn Bhd (Cahya Suria) have cancelled plans to establish large-scale solar photovoltaic (LSS PV) projects in Perak after failing to fulfil contractual obligations. The agreement required both the parties to obtain at least 100 MW of capacity from the state government and the Perak State Development Corporation for the development of the LSS projects by 2021, based on a calculation of three acres per MW.  Plans for the projects were called off after these targets failed to be met during the time period.

A mutual agreement was signed between the two in 2020 for the development of the LSS PV projects.
