Malaysia Airports Holdings Berhad (MAHB) plans to upgrade all three runways of the Kuala Lampur International Airport within the next five years. While Runway 3 will be upgraded in September 2019, Runways 1 and 2 will be upgraded in 2021 and 2023 respectively. The upgradation works will also involve maintenance activities in order to boost safety and service levels at the airport.
