LTA to simplify fare payment apps for public transport

The Land Transport Authority (LTA) will merge the EZ-Link and TransitLink Simply Go mobile apps into a single platform to simplify fare payments on public transport in Singapore. The Transit Link Private Limited and EZ-Link Private Limited will also be merged. The move will be completed by 2024, subject to regulatory approvals.

While both apps allow passengers to top up EZ-Link cards as well as access travel transaction histories, only the EZ-Link app can be used to block a lost card. Additionally, only the TransitLink Simply Go app can be used to apply for concession cards.
