DHL Global Forwarding, international provider of air, sea and road freight services, has appointed Laurence Cheung as managing director (MD) for its Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos operations. In this new role, Cheung will focus on strengthening operational rigour and will focus on growing sales as regional trade and foreign investment continues to rise in the region. Over his 20 years at DHL Global Forwarding, he has held station and general manager roles in some of China’s biggest and fastest growing cities like Beijing, Chengdu and Xiamen.
