Lao Air State Enterprise will lease two twin-engine Dornier 228 aircraft from Thailand-based Solar Air. The aircraft that can seat 19 passengers is appropriate for airports with relatively smaller runways. The fleet size of Lao Air stands at nine aircraft; helicopters constitute the majority.
