Kunardy Lie has been appointed Deutsche Bank’s Chief Country Officer for Indonesia. Previously, Lie held the post of Managing Director and Head of Corporate and Investment Banking at Citibank (Indonesia). Prior to Lie’s appointment, the post was held by Suresh Narang, who retired in March 2014.
Lie is a chartered financial analyst and holds an MBA degree from the University of Rochester, New York. Deutsche Bank that started its operations in Indonesia in 1969 has a commercial banking licence. It employs 300 people in Jakarta and Surabaya.
