A Korea Rail Network Authority-led consortium has entered into a formal agreement with the Jakarta Provincial Government for the construction of a 5.8 km railway system for the first section (Line 1) of the Jakarta LRT, which is the first phase of the 110 km project to establish seven lines in Jakarta. The Korean consortium consisted of the Korea Rail Network Authority (business management), Daea TI (signals), Samjin (electric power), Woojin Industrial Systems (inspection) and LG CNS (screen doors).
