Nexif Ratch Energy and Khanh Hoa Province have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to develop the province’s first-ever wind farm, the 102 MW Nexif Energy Khanh Hoa 1 project. Valued at USD 155 million, the project will generate approximately 312,500 MWh of clean energy annually, contributing to reduced greenhouse gas emissions and diversifying the region’s energy mix. The wind farm is part of the province’s broader strategy to become a major economic hub by 2030 through sustainable infrastructure development.
The project, which began with a survey license in May 2021, has already completed essential steps, including the installation of met masts for energy yield assessments. Nexif Ratch Energy, with its strong presence in Vietnam, is positioned to benefit from an updated regulatory framework that will facilitate the launch of more renewable energy projects in the country.
