JX Nippon Oil & Gas Exploration and PETRONAS into a PSC for deepwater Block 3F

JX Nippon Oil & Gas Exploration and PETRONAS have entered into a PSC for deepwater Block 3F in Sarawak. Block 3F, which has a surface area of approximately 4,200 square km and a water depth of 150 metres–1,300 metres, is a prospective block for oil discovery. JX Nippon Oil & Gas Exploration (Offshore Malaysia) that holds a 40 per cent participating interest in the block will participate in the exploration activity as a non-operator.
