A joint venture (JV) company comprising Mainstream Renewable Power and Aboitiz Power Corporation will deliver the 90MW Libmanan onshore wind project in the Philippines. The agreement is subject to regulatory approvals
The wind project, located in the Camarines Sur province, is expected to reach financial close in 2023, with commercial operations scheduled for 2025.
This is one of the key projects supporting the Government of Philippines’ goal of increasing the share of renewable energy (RE) in the total power mix as well as reduce its carbon emissions by 75 per cent by 2030.
