J&V Energy Technology Co., Ltd. has received the Green Energy Award (Top Distinction) at the BCCTaipei Better Business Awards, recognising the company’s expanding renewable energy portfolio, integrated business model, and measurable progress toward net-zero goals. The award highlights J&V Energy’s growing contribution to Taiwan’s clean energy transition and its strengthening role across the Asia-Pacific renewable energy market.

The recognition reflects the company’s One-Site, Multiple-Use for Renewables model, which integrates solar power generation, energy storage, renewable electricity trading, and community engagement within a single framework. J&V Energy has achieved several operational milestones, including more than 1 GW of cumulative owned solar PV capacity, nearly 30 percent of Taiwan’s renewable energy certificate transactions in 2024 through its subsidiary GREENET, and 459 MW / 1,201 MWh of deployed energy storage capacity via Recharge Power.

Now in its ninth year, the BCCTaipei Better Business Awards evaluate corporate ESG performance across multiple sustainability categories. J&V Energy was the only Taiwanese green energy company nominated for the Green Energy Award this year, underscoring Taiwan’s rising profile in the global net-zero landscape as the company continues to expand its integrated renewable energy platform and regional partnerships.
