JICA signed a grant agreement with the Government of Vietnam for the Trenchless Sewerage Pipeline Rehabilitation Project in Ho Chi Minh City on February 21, 2020. JICA will provide a grant of $16.84 million for the project, scheduled to be completed in March 2023. The rehabilitation works will be carried out in 24 months by experienced Japanese companies. The project will help increase the drainage and load-bearing capacity of the city’s sewerage system.
