Japan has agreed to extend official development assistance (ODA) of $211 million to Myanmar. The loan will be utilised for the implementation of the Yangon City electrification project, the infrastructure development project in the Thilawa SEZ and another small- and medium-scale enterprise development project in the country. The agreement between the two countries was signed in Naypyidaw.
