Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison (IOH) is developing a 4G LTE network in Indonesia’s planned capital, Nusantara. Around USD10 million has been invested to deploy 30-40 base transceiver stations in the future capital. Currently, only 30 4G sites operate in the area.
Nusantara is being developed on the island of Borneo, which is 800 miles away from the current capital Jakarta. The government plans to inaugurate the green capital on August 17, 2024.
