Indonesian telecommunications provider Indosat has launched a universal mobile telecommunications system 900 MHz network in Bali. The operator will be providing data services of speeds up to 42 Mbps under the “Super Internet” brand. According to the company, the new spectrum offers a better signal, which will improve the quality of service and indoor reception. The company is also enhancing its mobile sites across Indonesia, with some 5,000 to 6,000 base transceiver stations (BTSs) scheduled for improvements in the near future.
