Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison has partnered with Vietnam-based Xanh SM to promote sustainable mobility in Indonesia. The partnership leverages ICT, IoT, and analytics to enhance operational efficiency and customer experiences. Indosat will provide connectivity solutions, including its Card Management Platform and Cisco IoT Control Center, to monitor and manage SIM cards for Xanh SM’s electric taxi fleet. IoT technologies will also track driving metrics, ensuring safety and efficiency. A six-month pilot phase will precede a full-scale rollout, supporting Indonesia’s sustainability goals.
This initiative aligns with Indosat’s Green Technology Program, aimed at reducing carbon emissions. Xanh SM’s energy-efficient electric vehicles are expected to lower environmental impacts meanwhile delivering eco-friendly transport. Both companies emphasise their shared commitment to sustainability and innovation, with plans to inspire broader adoption of green technologies in Southeast Asia’s transport sector.
